  1. Hello! Not sure if this is a problem just for me across the pond or for everyone but the pdf link for the September 26 issue of the Sentinel is not working (404 not found). I look forward to catching up with news from our friends in Fannin County each Thursday – hope you can help. Kind regards from Newport, S Wales, UK 🙂

  2. Hi I learned about the future home of the University of North Carolina blue ridge campus and a tad of what was happening in Blue Ridge Georgia on Thursday, October 11, 2018 when I opened my box from Blue Ridge models. My order was wrapped in the Finnin Sentinal. What a cool way to connect with southern neighbors and get a fabulous model at the same time. Hope your all well after the hurricanes. Best wishes from the great White North,Ottawa,Canada

  3. Please tell Noey Vineyard how sorry I am at the loss of his cat. It is wonderful to see there are caring and sensitive human beings left. The two cats I have left have both found me and decided they wanted to join my household. My condolences.

  4. I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your newspaper. Look forward to reading it every week. One of my favorite articles is The Mountain Creek Rambler. I love the way Mr. Vineyard tells his stories. Great imagery!

  5. The more of Gary Gobeo’s columns I read, the more I miss John Mullinix and his researched, fact based, authorities cited, opinion pieces.

  6. Dear Sentinel,

Thrilled to see Noey Vineyard as an addition to your paper. Mountain Creek Rambler is a great column and I love the images that his writing brings out. He has the ability to create vivid images of our town and surrounding area. Count me as a fan and I hope to read your paper for a long time to come.

    1. We are honored to have Noey writing for the Sentinel. His stories evoke images of mountain life–the dog, the horse, the streams. His ramblings bring out the best of Fannin County and we are happy to share with our wonderful community!
