Kraft-Heinz pork gravy recall

Just a couple of days before Thanksgiving, Kraft Heinz Co. has issued a recall on about 500 cases of Heinz HomeStyle Bistro Au Jus Gravy due to a mislabeling issue.
Some jars of Bistro Au Jus Gravy may be mislabeled as Heinz Pork Gravy and therefore not labeled as containing milk and soy, according to a recall notice filed with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
“People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk or soy run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product,” the FDA warned.
The 12-ounce jars impacted by the recall have a Best By date of 12/28/2017 and manufacturing code of MU6F04 4Q followed by a time stamp.
There have been no consumer complaints or reports of illness related to this issue to date.
Consumers who purchased this product should not eat it, FDA said. They should return it to the store where purchased for an exchange or full refund. Consumers with questions may contact the company at 1-866-572-3808 Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern, for a full refund.
